Southland's Ian "Inky" Tulloch has added yet another Australian motorsport title to his collection.

The Eastern Southland businessman and former Gore mayor teamed up with Australian driver Stuart Kostera - as part of the TMR racing team - to win the Australian Manufacturers' Championship.

The Australian Manufacturers' Championship was held over six rounds, although one round was cancelled.

Going into yesterday's final race at Sandown, Tulloch and Kostera needed to finish in the top six to ensure them of the championships win.

Tulloch got off to a good start, taking the wheel in the first part of the race before Kostera stepped to extend the lead even more.

However, some fuel problems late in the race meant they crawled over the line in second but that was still enough to claim the championship.

The 2012 Australian Manufacturers' Championship goes with the same title he won with Kostera last year and the Australian truck racing titles Tulloch won from 2000 through to 2002.
