Kepler Challenge Committee chairman Steve Norris assists in preparing race packs for this year's races.
A capacity field of 450 runners will start this year's Kepler Challenge, with another 150 entered in the 26km Luxmore Grunt.
Places in both events are in hot demand, with the online entry system filling in minutes when it opened during the winter.
Start numbers are limited by the Department of Conservation.
Volunteers tonight will be busy preparing the race packs for contestants.
The event is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, continuing a tradition which started with the inaugural event in 1988.
