Southland netballer Hayley Saunders has been contracted to the Mystics for the 2013 trans-Tasman season.
Saunders has joined the team as a replacement player after the Mystics lost the services of Anna Harrison (pregnancy) and Charlotte Kight (injury).
Mystics coach Ruth Aitken said: "Hayley trained with the team last week and her past experience and commitment really showed through.
"We are delighted that Hayley has been able to make a lot of changes to her life in a very short space of time to enable her to move to Auckland and join the team."
Saunders, who played for Southern Steel from 2010 until 2012, will move to Auckland this week.
