The team includes Robyn Pullar, Angela Gerken, Kerry Mariu, Olivia Frost, Fiona Murray, Bronwyn O'Brien, Anne Osment and Danielle Price. It will be captained by Robyn Boniface and the reserve is Helen Baird.
Southland won the southern derby when the two teams met in November, with a convincing 11-5 win at St Clair in Dunedin. With home course advantage, confidence will be high of retaining the cup.
A quick look at the events calendar on Golf Southland's website shows there is plenty happening on the local scene.
