LOOKING ON THE BRIGHT SIDE: Lydia Ko smiles as she stretches on the 10th tee prior to the second round of the CME Group Titleholders at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida.

Kiwi golfing sensation Lydia Ko sits in a tie for 23rd after her second round in her first professional tournament in Florida today.

Ko had two birdies and one bogey in her second straight 71 at the LPGA's season-ending Titleholders event at Tiburon Golf Club.

Though nine shots behind leader Sandra Gal, Ko, who had four pro tournament victories as an amateur this year, still led Australian legend Karrie Webb, who stumbled to 26th after carding 73 today.

The elite season finale, open to players who posted top-three finishes this year, features a winner's prize of US$700,000; the largest on the LPGA Tour.
