The title-winning Southland Sharks will have 2013 standout and ANBL rising star Brian Conklin back in orange singlet again after he re-signed at the weekend.
American import Conklin was a stand-out star in his first season out of college, averaging 22.4 points and 9.5 rebounds per game for the Sharks on their way to the title.
He was named Most Valuable Forward in the NBL in 2013.
In the Australian NBL, he scored 33 points for the Townsville Crocodiles as they beat the New Zealand Breakers, and has averaged 16 points per game in that league this season.
A Conklin dunk close to the end of the game against Adelaide on Friday night helped the Crocs end Adelaide's six-game winning streak as they won 98-94.
The signings continue a good pre-Christmas recruitment drive for the Sharks, with Reuben Te Rangi,
Gareth Dawson and Leon Henry also signed to play in Invercargill next year.
