Burt Munro Challenge
The Burt Munro Challenge continues today with the New Zealand Hill Climb Championship at Bluff Hill.
Two-time defending champion Cantabrian Ryan Hampton will be the man to beat in the open class category.Hampton shattered the record for the 1.4km course last year in 45.99secs, despite strong westerly gusts and squally showers.
Conditions for today's racing is fine, with a high of 20 degrees expected and northerly winds.
Practice sessions have just got under way, with each rider having a maximum of three official timed runs in each class entered.
