The college netball fixture between South Otago High School and Southland Girls' High will televised as part of this year's national competition.

South Otago High are seeded second in the South Island pool, which includes Girls' High (5) and Central Southland College (6).

The College Netball competition runs parallel to the trans-Tasman competition from March 3.

Twelve of the 18 college matches will be televised on Sky Sport, with those matches broadcast on Monday nights before their respective trans-Tasman games.

South Otago's game against Girls' High will be the curtain-raiser to Steel's game against the Mystics on April 6.

The College Netball final will be held in Auckland before the game between the Mystics and West Coast Fever on May 26.
