Im Themightyquinn took his stakes tally to $4,567,456, $7982 short of the record for New Zealand and Australia when he won the $A100,000 Blacks A Fake at Albion Park, Brisbane on Saturday night.

The stakes record is held by Blacks A Fake, who was retired with 72 wins. The Southland-bred 9-year-old Im Themightyquinn has won 58 races. The Washington VC- Love Sign gelding rated 1.56.1 for the 1660m.

Deano Robyn won the $16,000 final of the Rising Stars Championship at Albion Park in 1.56.6 rate. Deano Robyn (Washington VC-Robyn's A Holmes) was exported three weeks ago after winning three races from the Ryal Bush stable of Hamish Hunter for Tapanui breeder, Graeme Edgar. He was having his second start in Australia for owner, Trista Baz.

Yet another progeny of Washington VC, Freyberg recorded his best time in Australia when he won over a mile in 1.51.7 at Menangle on Saturday night. It was his 15th win since being sold by breeder Phillip Hewitson after winning three races from the stable of Brendon McLellan.

Katy Perry, who travelled to Melbourne six days earlier, won the Group II $50,000 Tatlow Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Melton on Saturday night. The Cran Dalgety-trained Katy Perry was driven by Dexter Dunn.

Kept Under Wraps, part-owned by Phil and Margaret Creighton, of East Taieri, won the Tatlow Stakes for colts and gelding. He is trained by Brent Lilley.
