Harness racing workouts could resume at Ascot Park on Saturday.

Nominations close at Southern Harness Racing's office at Ascot Park on Friday at 3pm. Workouts official Jason Broad said yesterday that at least 12 entries were needed for workouts to go ahead.

A Southland-Otago trainers and drivers' meeting will be held in the Ascot Park Raceway's dining room on Sunday at 2pm.

Guest speakers are the national body president Rob Lawson, Harness Racing New Zealand racing manager Darrin Williams and Judicial Control Authority member Nigel Skelt.

For catering purposes, people planning to attend should contact Jason Broad at Southern Harness Racing.
