In wet conditions, Dunn scored with Radar, Elusive Flight and Universal Rule on the final day of the Wyndham Harness Racing Club's spring meeting.

Universal Rule, who is trained at West Melton by John Howe, will stay in the care of Wyndham horseman Brendon McLellan for the Invercargill meeting next Sunday.

Reon Tither, who moved from Invercargill to West Australia three years ago, drove VC Windermere to success in MLT/Three Rivers Hotel Pace today.

He owns the Washington VC mare with his mother, Andrea, while father Jack trains the 5-year-old at Ascot Park. Today was Tither's first race-drive for seven months. For most of the past two years, he has been concentrating on accountancy work.

He is on holiday and will return to West Australia on Friday.

Oamaru horseman Phil Williamson won with Jocasta - his lone runner at Wyndham.

Her half-sister, Jag's Invasion (three wins), is also trained by Williamson. He is toying with the idea of taking a few horses to Auckland next month.

Being considered for the trip are Jag's Invasion, Yankee One and Springbank Sam
