The Rutledge brothers, Andrew, Callum and Jason, have joined forces to build a transportable toilet facility for community events, starting with the Christmas races at Ascot Park on Saturday.

Andrew Rutledge got the idea after noticing a container converted into a toilet block at a rugby tournament. He is an electrician, Callum a builder and Jason a plumber.

In the women's section of the Luxury Loo there are two flushable toilets and a vanity unit, while the men's area consists of one flushable toilet and three urinals. Hot and cold water and a mirror are in both.

''We built it in our sparetime,'' Callum said.
