Caribbean Blaster, a candidate for the New Zealand Trotting Cup tomorrow week, was cleared to travel by Australian authorities today.
Caribbean Blaster finished third to For A Reason and The Gold Ace, beaten 10 lengths over a mile in 1.49.4 at Menangle on Saturday night.
The John and Karen Parsons stable produced the pacer Clarisa for an impressive win at Kaikoura when having her first start today.
Clarisa, a 4-year-old mare by Mach Three, is the ninth winner from as many foals to race out of Abbey Rose, who has been bred from by the Parsons. Clarisa is a sister to Artiface (10 wins) and a half-sister to Roseaire and Anna Livia, who have each won nine races.
