The ultra-consistent trotter Nickelson is in line to extend his record at Winton today.

The Sundon gelding in the stable of Nathan Williamson has only finished further back than fourth once in 16 starts. He has won five and finished second seven times. He started from 20m when he won his last start at Winton, suggesting a 30m handicap will not trouble him.

Majestic Major, a winner at Ascot Park and Wyndham in his two starts for trainers Jonny Cox and Amber Hoffman has been sold to Queensland owner Kevin Seymour. Raced by Christchurch breeder Mike Prendergast, Majestic Major was exported last week.
