Sire Changeover was credited with his first New Zealand winner when Supriya won the 2-year-old fillies' race at Winton yesterday.

Supriya, part-owned by the Stags' rugby coach Brad Mooar and trained in Christchurch by Cran Dalgety, clocked 2:0 for one mile at the Winton Harness Racing Club meeting.

Changeover stands at Nevele R Stud in Christchurch.

Workouts at Gore this weekend will be held on the grass galloping track.

It will provide horses the chance to run on the surface before the Gore Harness Racing Club hold's a grass track meeting on Sunday week.
