Telltale, the creators of the critically acclaimed adventure game series based on The Walking Dead, are hard at work on a new Game of Thrones title, according to IGN.
The site claims that "multiple" sources have revealed the existence of the (as yet unannounced) game, however Telltale themselves will neither confirm nor deny.
“We get these sorts of rumours about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time," the company's SVP of publishing - Steve Allison - responded. "Officially we have no comment."
Game of Thrones, which first aired in April 2011, is a serialised made-for-TV adaptation of George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels.
Through its morally ambiguous characters, the show's Wikipedia entry summarises, the series explores the issues of social hierarchy, religion, loyalty, corruption, sexuality, civil war, crime, and punishment.
Telltale's latest game - The Wolf Among Us, which is based on a series of comics called Fables - is already being heralded as the "next step" in the company's award-winning, narrative-driven adventure game engine.
