ORDERS CLOSED: Shield fever has hit Southland and we're producing a book to celebrate that will also solve your Christmas present worries.
Our Team, Our Shield is the official Ranfurly Shield book and will focus on the 48 hours from when the Southland Stags left Invercargill on October 21 with the weight of a half-century of expectations on their shoulders to their triumphant return from Christchurch on October 23.
Today is your last chance to order the book. The number of copies printed will be based on the number of books pre-ordered so the only way to make sure you get enough copies of this milestone book – for yourself and to give away as Christmas gifts – is to order now.
It won't be for sale in book shops and it's unlikely there will be a reprint.
The book is $25 but this is reduced to $20 in a special deal for subscribers of The Southland Times and Rugby Southland season ticket-holders.
This colourful book will be the perfect souvenir to commemorate the Southland Stags awesome 2009 season. It's a limited-edition print, so make sure you get your copy and enough to give away by ordering now. We are taking advance orders only for Our Team, Our Shield, which will be available for collection from December 11.
Postage is $3.50 (within New Zealand), or books can be collected from our offices.
If you have any questions, phone us on (03) 211 1130 or email us.
