Breakers guard Corey Webster will miss the two game road-trip to Townsville and Cairns this week with a back injury.

The injury kept him sidelined for the Breakers' last second win against the Sydney Kings on Friday and he has not recovered in time for the Sunshine Swing.

Webster will be replaced in the travelling team by development player Reuben Te Rangi, who is yet to take the court for the two-time defending champions.

Fellow development player Josh Bloxham is still out of action with a high left ankle sprain.

The Breakers take on the winless Townsville Crocodiles on Friday night before facing the Cairns Taipans on Saturday night. Tip-off for both games is 9.30pm (NZ Time).
