Russell Westbrook was one of the front-runners for the MVP award this season, averaging 31.8 points, 10.6 rebounds and 10.3 assists per game this season.

With 15 games left in the Thunder's season before the playoffs, Westbrook was on pace to be just the second player in the history of the league to average a triple-double for the season, with only Oscar Robertson doing it with the Cincinnati Royals in the 1961-62 season.
