Pakistan have beaten the Black Caps by 49 runs in a Twenty20 match in Dubai.

Chasing 162 for the win, New Zealand, batting without an injured Aaron Redmond, fell for 112 in 18.3 overs.

However, the New Zealand batting were unable to string any partnerships together and were 67 for five by the 11th over and the end came quickly as Pakistan snapped up the remaining wickets for just 45 runs.

Black Caps skipper Daniel Vettori did not play after feeling unwell and vomiting prior to the game.
