Auckland put T20 hopes in hands of Adamses
Auckland will be pinning a good chunk of their hopes on two men called Adams during this season's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition.
Hampshire's Jimmy Adams was today named as Auckland's second overseas player, playing alongside former Black Cap Andre Adams.
Former Auckland player Lou Vincent will also be available as a local player.
With Auckland coach Paul Strang keen for continuity in the squad for the duration of the Twenty20 campaign, all three players are available for the entire 10 round robin games and final.
Jimmy Adams and Lou Vincent have signed solely for the Twenty20 competition in December, while Andre Adams is contracted for the entire season.
Strang said he was delighted to have such experience and skills at his disposal.
"We've got a very exciting and talented squad and these three guys just up the skill level that much more. They are all really high quality cricketers," Strang said.
