The $US20 million ($NZ33million) winner-takes-all Twenty20 Stanford match between England and a West Indies team will go ahead in Antigua on November 1 after a sponsorship impasse was resolved.

The BBC today quoted tournament organisers as saying a dispute between the organisers and the sponsors of West Indies' cricket had been settled.

A London High Court arbitration hearing had upheld objections from sponsors Digicel that an agreement between the England and Wales Cricket Board and Texan millionaire Allen Stanford compromised their exclusive rights to promote West Indies' cricket.

The match between England and a West Indies team, called the "Stanford Super Stars", follows five games also featuring England Twenty20 champions Middlesex and West Indies' regional side Trinidad and Tobago.
