Corey Anderson has made the most of his extra life, hitting the next two balls for six

Pakistan's cricketers were irate after an umpiring howler from New Zealand's Billy Bowden in the third one-day international in Auckland.

Bowden missed a clear edge from Black Caps allrounder Corey Anderson on 17, as he went on to score a crucial 35 off 29 balls in the home side's three-wicket victory. They snuck home with two balls to spare, chasing a rain-reduced target of 263 off 43 overs at Eden Park to clinch the series 2-0.

Billy Bowden left Pakistan livid with his decision to give Corey Anderson not out.

Pakistan's left-armer Rahat Ali and his team-mates screamed an appeal for caught behind but umpire Bowden was unmoved despite a big noise and the Snicko replay showing a clear edge. Anderson rubbed salt into their wounds by hitting the next two deliveries for six off Rahat.

Pakistan had already used up their one permitted challenge under the Decision Review System.
