New Zealand batsman Brendon McCullum has moved to the top of the world Twenty20 cricket batting rankings following his match-winning innings of 91 against India in Chennai on Wednesday.
McCullum climbs two spots to No 1 while teammate Martin Guptill is also in the top five, ranked fifth after dropping three spots.
McCullum's brother Nathan is the only Kiwi in the top-20 bowling rankings, at No 5. Pakistan offspinner Saeed Ajmal will head into the World Cup in Sri Lanka next week as the No 1 ranked bowler.
New Zealand's 1-0 series victory against India has seen them jump two spots to No 5 in the team standings, the top four being defending World Cup champions England, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
Australia have sneaked back above Ireland and are ranked No 9, just below Bangladesh.
