Win a Profile boat this summer
By the end of this summer, one lucky person will be the proud recipient of the Hiwi the Kiwi promotion boat that has been seen around many schools in the latter half of 2009.

The alloy Profile pontoon boat has attracted plenty of attention from the students and adults alike wherever it has accompanied The Minstrel, a.k.a. Mark De Lacy, on his wanderings to spread his fishing, conservation and water-safety messages.

Over the next three months the boat will be raffled off as the major fundraiser for the year. The New Zealand Big Game Fishing Council has underwritten the Fish for the Future message, which is based around the exploits of fictional character Hiwi the Kiwi.

The programme went into 90 schools this year, and more than double that are booked for 2010.
Programme co-ordinator and NZBGFC Vice-President, Evan Mackay, will be taking the boat around the major upper-North Island holiday spots this summer as part of the raffle promotion.

The prize includes an alloy Profile 520 pontoon boat, courtesy of Napier-based Firmans Marine, a 70hp Yamaha two-stroke outboard, supplied by Yamaha Marine, a DMW trailer from Hamilton manufacturers DMW Trailers, and a Furuno GF7000F sounder and VHF from leading marine electronics company, Electronic Navigation Ltd. The package is valued at $48,000, and the raffle will be drawn next March, with tickets purchased via the coupon below, at your nearest Hunting & Fishing Store, or from members of a NZ Big Game Fishing Council affiliated club from December 1.

Please make the cheque out to NZ Big Game Fishing Council and post, along with this order form, to
