November sees the start of the 2011 Summer Series on SKY Sport in a new timeslot of 7.00pm on Sunday nights. We kick off with a phenomenal day out snapper fishing with the editor of this fine magazine, Grant Dixon, and there’s heaps of advice and different techniques employed, so with a regular play on SUNDAY nights at 7.00pm, TUESDAY at 8.30pm, SATurday at 5.30pm and other slots each week, you’ll be able to watch, or re-watch, all the awesome moments from the Summer Series.

Nov 6, Sky Sport 1, 7.00pm
Bay of Islands Snapper Galore
Join Matt and Grant Dixon as they attempt to catch and photograph a snapper worthy of a cover shot.

Big Sharks off the Beach
From a popular Northland beach Matt attempts to catch a bronze whaler to tag and measure before releasing.

Commercial Tuna
Matt gets the white gumboots back on this week and mucks in with an albacore tuna boat out from Westport.

The Gladiator
A broadbill swordfish has never been taken on rod and reel in the South Island before. With a break in the albacore fishing Matt has a crack and comes up trumps.

Over on TV3, you can catch a Classic Episode in the all new time slot of 5.30pm on a Sunday. As your weekend is winding down you can grab some couch, flick on the telly and catch a favourite from yesteryear. Want to see that episode where Matt heads to the Mokes to target monster snapper, or the first trip to Greymouth to tangle with giant bluefin… what about the day the boys went 14 for none against some monster doggies in New Caledonia or the great white that turned Matt into its little beach (I think that’s how it’s spelt)… Sunday 5.30pm TV3

Matt teams up with Pio Terei for an entertaining day on the water and manages to land the largest snapper ever seen on the show.

Nov 27, TV3, 5.30pm Plastic Fantastic
One of the first forays into the (then) brand new, soft-plastic craze comes up trumps for Matt and the boys.
