Rod storage for tin sheds

With many garages now being made from metal sheeting, there is nothing much to drive nails in to form convenient rod holders.

To get around this, I have fixed two pieces of 2.5cm timber to the inside of the shed. At one end I have drilled holes big enough to take rod butts and at the other there are corresponding slots cut to take the rod tips.

This makes good use of previously unavailable space, as well as keeping rods, oars, gaffs and the like out of harm’s way.
