A rather slender shark common throughout our waters in depths to two hundred metres, and one which is regularly taken on a line.

Spotted Dogfish

A slender shark with spots and small, flat crushing teeth, it is widespread in our waters as well as cooler Australian seas.

Mako shark

A streamlined and active shark and probably the best sport shark of all, it is widely distributed in warmer seas and in our waters ranges south to Foveaux Strait.
