One thing close to Diego Maraotter's heart is diving. There is nothing he loves more than a dive and a dip.

Today he was treated to a superb dive by the Netherlands' Arjen Robben.

"I couldn't have done it better myself," Maraotter smirked. "It had a nice arc to it."

It meant the Netherlands were awarded the penalty which saw them beat Mexico 2-1 to move in the Football World Cup quarter-finals.

For Maraotter, it helped extend his lead to 8-6 over his pundit competition - football writers Tony Smith and Sam Worthington.

He's now picked 8 from 10 and the journo duo won't be catching him tomorrow either, as they have all stumped for France to cruise by Nigeria.

"Those guys are running out of matches. They know it, I know it. I just need to mimic their every move now and I'd win. Obviously I'm not going to do that because winners don't mimic losers," Maraotter said.
