Papiss Cisse produced one of the goals of the season for Newcastle as his team beat Chelsea in the Premier League this morning.

From an acute angle on the left-hand side of the pitch Cisse lashed an outswinging, 25-yard, right-foot shot into the top right-hand corner of the Chelsea goal, leaving goalkeeper Petr Cech flapping at fresh air.

Cisse's goal in added time was his second of the game and capped another memorable performance for the in-form striker.

It was hailed by Cisse's manager Alan Pardew as "an astonishing goal".

The Senegal international has been a revelation at Newcastle since being signed for $17.9m from SC Freiburg in the German Bundesliga.

He has scored 13 goals in just 12 games as the Magpies push for a top four finish in the Premier League.
