Stein Huysegems continued his goalscoring glut as a Phoenix selection thrashed Central League club Petone 6-1 in a pre-season game at Petone Memorial Park tonight.

Belgian striker Huysegems scored four times, taking his pre-season tally to 10 goals from four games.

Triallist Alex Rufer and Cameron Lindsay were the other goalscorers for the Phoenix, who are building towards their A-League opener on October 13.
