The dates of two Wellington Phoenix games have been shifted, the A-League announced tonight.

The round 21 game against Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium will now be played on February 27 instead of March 2, avoiding a clash with the Clipsal 500 motorsport event.

The round 25 game against Adelaide at Westpac Stadium will be played on March 30 instead of March 29.

Opinion poll

What do you make of Tommy Smith's decision not to play for the All Whites?

It's fair enough. He's already got a massive workload.

He's been a great servant for the All Whites. His request not to play is fine by me.

It's disappointing to say the least. What happened to national pride?

It's unbelievable. He shouldn't be picked for NZ again.
