Lydia Ko is tied 25th after the first round of the Arkansas Championship.

Ko had a decent day today at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas carding a bogey-free, two-under par 69.

However, scoring was low and the Kiwi is four shots off the lead of Canadian Alena Sharp.

With just four strokes separating the top 42 players, and the tournament only being over three days instead of the usual four, Ko requires a hot day tomorrow if else risks being left behind.

The young New Zealander was almost flawless from tee to green today, missing only one fairway and three greens. Unfortunately for Ko her trademark putting didn't have its range, requiring 31 strokes on the greens.
