Tim Wilkinson and Danny Lee have both missed the cut on the PGA Tour - confirming neither will feature in next week's Open Championship.

With low scoring continuing today at the John Deere Classic in Illinois, Wilkinson improved with a three-under par 68 after a disappointing opening day 74, but missed the cut by two shots.

Lee, meanwhile, carded 70 today after 73 yesterday to miss the cut by three.

Americans Zach Johnson and William McGirt lead on 12-under par, one stroke ahead of Australian Steven Bowditch and American pair Johnson Wagner and Brian Harman.

Veteran Steve Stricker, who has won the tournament three times before, is also in the hunt on nine-under par.
