Ryan Moore birdied the third extra hole to win a three-way play-off at the US$5.1 million Wyndham Championship.
The former US amateur champion clinched his first victory on the PGA Tour after carding a final round 65 at Sedgefield.
He tied fellow Americans Kevin Stadler (66) and Jason Bohn (62) at 16-under-par 264, one stroke ahead of Spain's Sergio Garcia.
Bohn was eliminated at the first extra hole. Moore and Stadler parred the next before Moore birdied the third play-off hole.
