Just when Tiger Woods might have been thinking the furore surrounding his "infidelities" might have been dying down, rumours of a "love child" have surfaced.
The murky world of celebrity and tabloid journalism continues to rake over the life of world golf's number one player, all sparked from his early morning November 27 vehicle crash outside his Florida mansion.
At last count the alleged mistresses, including two porn stars, numbered 13 - maybe 14 - and there have been reports in recent days that Tiger's wife, Elin Nordegren, is set to file for divorce early in the New Year.
And now, today, it has been reported that one of those 13 - or is it 14 alleged mistresses? - is demanding a NZ$4.5 million pay-off to buy her silence amid rumours of a love child.
Theresa Rogers, from Florida, is said to have hired Gloria Allred, a high profile lawyer, to negotiate the deal. Allred was earlier hired by another alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel and it has been reported that her silence has already been bought for a massive NZ$6.8 million. Miss Uchitel denies she was paid and has denied having an affair with the golfer.
Celebrity website RadarOnline reported today that Mrs Rogers told friends that she actively tried to have a baby by Woods and had the blessing of her fourth husband, who could not get her pregnant.
She is said to have got pregnant in 2003 and given birth around the turn of the year, before Woods married Elin Nordegren.
The baby girl, now aged six, was reportedly never given a paternity test, but according to RadarOnline, Mrs Rogers was also seeing an Eastern European basketball player at the time and the baby looks Caucasian.
Mrs Rogers, 48, was the oldest of the many women linked to Woods, 33.
While the mistress tally seems to increase daily, it appears actress/singer Jessica Simpson is keen to distance herself from suggestions she met with Woods days before her breakup with then boyfriend Tony Romo.
Star Magazine had reported the claim, but Simpson, via her official Twitter account, has refuted the suggestion.
Simpson's Twitter said: "can't believe that I'm on the cover of star magazine with Tiger Woods, what a JOKE! 'The Shocking Inside Story' is (insert drumroll) A LIE!"
Meanwhile, some of Ms Uchitel's clothes may be about to hit the eBay auction block.
In a mysterious press release received today, club owner JE Englebert is purporting to auction Miss Uchite's "VIP hostess outfit'' that has been acquired by another waitress where Miss Uchitel worked.
The release said a press conference was too be held to show off the garment with proceeds of the auction going to a domestic abuse charity.
