New Zealand golfer Mark Brown maintained his consistent form to finish tied for eighth in the Indonesia President Invitational in Jakarta yesterday.
It was Brown's second successive top-10 finish after he came fifth equal in the India Open this month.
He shot a bogey-free closing round of five-under-par 67 to finish on 274, five shots behind the winner, Juvic Pagunsan, of the Philippines.
The result was important for Brown as it promoted him 11 places to 50th on the Asian Tour's order of merit with tournament income of $US67,414 ($NZ89,790).
He needs to finish in the top 60 to retain his card for 2008.
A handful of tournaments remain on the Asian schedule, among them European co-sanctioned events in Singapore, China and Hong Kong.
Richard Lee is the leading New Zealander on the order of merit in 39th place, while Stephen Scahill is 72nd, Brad Isles 82nd and Mahal Pearce 126th.
