Lydia Ko has used moving day as well as anyone and moved to the top of the leaderboard at the LPGA Tour's JTBC Founders Cup.

The 16-year-old Kiwi shot a five-under 67 at the Wildfire Golf Club and will start tomorrow's final round with a one-shot advantage.

A win would be Ko's first as a professional on the LPGA Tour, though she did win the Canadian Open twice as an amateur in 2013 and 2012. She leads the $NZ1.76m event by one from second round leader Mirim Lee (70) from South Korea and American Jessica Korda (66).

The winner's cheque is worth $NZ246,000.Ko turned at three-under today after making an eagle at the par-five fifth having earlier picked up a shot at the par-five second.

The New Zealand schoolgirl was one behind Lee and another South Korean Sun Young Yoo halfway through her third round, but again played Wildfire's back nine well.

On days one and two Ko played the back nine in a combined 11-under par.

She wasn't that successful today, but did make three birdies including at the 140m, par-three 17th for the third straight day.

Would you be happy to pay for PGA Tour coverage online?

Absolutely. I'll do whatever it takes to watch golf.

It depends on how good the service is.

If it's not on TV, I won't watch it.

What? The PGA Tour's not going to be on Sky TV?
