Warriors wing Manu Vatuvei has taken an early guilty plea to a careless high tackle charge and will be free to play in the side's crucial NRL clash against Manly on Sunday.

League officials didn't like Vatuvei's hit on Todd Lowrie in last Saturday's loss to the Broncos in Brisbane.

Lowrie ended the night in "Disneyland" after a head clash with Vatuvei.

The early guilty plea for the grade one charge, entered today, means Vatuvei can play against the Sea Eagles at Mt Smart Stadium in what looms as a pivotal match for the Warriors.

Having had their three-match winning streak snapped by the Broncos, the Warriors are now seventh on the table, but in a four-team group locked on 22 points alongside the Broncos, Storm and ninth-placed Tigers.

The Sea Eagles will arrive in Auckland on top of the tight table after Monday night's 21-12 win over the Dragons where fullback Brett Stewart starred, setting up two tries.

Just six points now separates the top nine teams and there is everything to play for as the championship enters round 20.
