The Warriors have landed a blow in their row over jerseys with Gold Coast ahead of Sunday's NRL clash.
The Auckland-based side have been granted approval to wear their predominantly blue 15-year anniversary strip for the match against with the Titans, which kicks off at 1pm local time on the Gold Coast.
The Warriors had feared they would need to don their black jerseys in the Queensland midday heat after the Titans had opted for their predominantly white away strip.
The move angered Warriors boss Wayne Scurrah, who labelled the move "unsportsmanlike".
"Initially the Warriors club did not think this jersey would be available from the manufacturer for round one but they have now advised taking delivery in the last 24 hours," an NRL statement said on Friday.
Scurrah is also angry Brisbane will wear white jerseys in the round three clash at Suncorp Stadium, also to be played at 1pm.
"That's unsportsmanlike behaviour to try to give their team the advantage while perhaps overheating our guys in their black jerseys," he told an NZ newspaper last weekend.
Titans counterpart Michael Searle made no excuses.
"It's a home game and one of the benefits of that is you get to make a choice on what you wear," he said.
"I'm sure if the position was reversed, Wayne would do the same."
