Wests Tiger Beau Ryan will contest the grading of his dangerous contact charge at the NRL judiciary on tonight.

Ryan was found guilty of the grade three dangerous contact unnecessary head/neck pressure charge relating to an incident in the Tigers' 26-22 win over Manly on Monday night.

The winger is facing a four-match ban if his challenge is unsuccessful but could have that reduced to just one game if the charge is downgraded.

Sea Eagles forward George Rose will miss this weekend's match against Parramatta after taking the early guilty plea for his careless high tackle from the same fiery match.

The only other player to be sidelined for disciplinary reasons this weekend will be Canterbury's Michael Ennis, who is out for one match after taking an early guilty plea on a careless high tackle.

Manly pair Brent Kite and Kieran Foran as well as Gold Coast's Bodene Thompson and Warrior James Maloney have all escaped suspension on their charges after taking early guilty pleas.

Ryan's challenge will be heard at NRL headquarters in Sydney from 6pm tonight.
