Veteran fullback Preston Campbell has been ruled out with injury by the Gold Coast Titans on the eve of their NRL finals clash with New Zealand Warriors.

Campbell succumbed to a hamstring complaint, forcing Titans coach John Cartwright to slot William Zillman in at No. 1 with Jordan Atkins coming in on the wing.

Cartwright won't back a decision on the rest of their injury concerns until Friday morning.

Scott Prince (shoulder), Luke Bailey (thumb), Mat Rogers (hip), Brad Meyers (ribs), Steve Michaels (shoulder) and Ash Harrison (broken nose) must prove their fitness.

Former Warriors centre Clinton Toopi has received a boost before playing his ex-team, signing a new one-year contract for season 2011.
