Blues great Laurie Daley has been appointed NSW State of Origin coach for the next two seasons.
Daley, Brad Fittler, Trent Barrett and Daniel Anderson attended interviews today with the NSWRL board.
Fairfax Media has been told Daley was offered the job, with Barrett - an assistant to Ricky Stuart for the past two seasons - and Fittler asked to work with him.
Daley replaces Ricky Stuart, who will coach the Parramatta Eels next season.
