Sydney Roosters winger Tautau Moga has suffered a knee ligament injury and could miss the first half of the 2013 NRL season.

Moga, 18 and one of the Roosters' brightest young talents, sustained the injury in a non-contact training incident on Thursday (local time).

If Moga has damaged his anterior cruciate ligament and requires a knee reconstruction, he will be sidelined for at least the first half of next season.
