Kieran Foran snapped up by Canterbury Bulldogs - reports
Warriors star Kieran Foran will play for the Canterbury Bulldogs next season, according to two media outlets in Australia.
Foran, who is on a 12-month contract with the Warriors, will sign a three year deal with the Bulldogs, 7News reported on Thursday.
The Daily Telegraph was also reporting the Bulldogs had snapped up Foran after missing out on Wests Tigers player James Tedesco.
Paperwork for Foran's deal would be settled in the next two days, 7News said. It said Foran toured the club's facilities at Belmore on Monday, having stayed in Australia after the Warriors lost to Canberra on Saturday.
"Something would have to go horrendously wrong for him not to be a Bulldog next season," 7News reported.
It's understood Foran wants to move back to Sydney be near his two children.
Although the Bulldogs missed out on Tedesco, who is expected to sign with the Roosters, they will get another Tiger in Aaron Woods, the Telegraph reported.
Tigers coach Ivan Cleary on Thursday gave Woods and Tedesco a deadline of Friday to re-sign with the club.
