Aaron Woods of the Tigers said hair pulling was not a new issue for him on the league field. "It happens every game," he said.

Manly forward Darcy Lussick is facing a fine for pulling Aaron Woods' hair in a tackle during Sunday's NRL win over Wests Tigers.

Prop Lussick pulled Woods down by the hair as the Tigers captain ran the ball up early in the second half of the hosts' 28-16 win at Lottoland.

Lussick can accept a A$1350 fine with an early guilty plea for the contrary conduct charge over the incident.

Manly prop Darcy Lussick was charged with contrary conduct for pulling Wests Tigers captain Aaron Woods' hair during their NRL match on Sunday.

It didn't overly bother Woods who laughed off the incident, saying: "It happens every game. It's part of having long hair.

"He must've done it right in front of the ref. It was a bit of piggy back, it was good at the time," Woods said.

Meanwhile, Tigers forward Sauaso Sue faces a one-match ban after being charged with dangerous conduct.

Sue raised his knee and collected tackler Api Koroisau in the 65th minute of the match.

He will miss next Sunday's clash with Parramatta with an early guilty plea.
