American drag racer Antron Brown had a miraculous escape over the weekend, walking away after his dragster exploded mid-race before slamming into the barriers.

Brown was competing in the National Hot Rod Association's (NHRA) Winternationals drag racing competition in Pomona, California on Monday (NZT) when the incident occurred.
