Kiwi motorsport ace Mitch Evans continued to work on the development of his new car as GP2 testing continued in Spain today.
Having been 12th and 14th in yesterday's opening day of testing on the Jerez circuit, Evans was 14th and 17th in today's two sessions.
There are 24 drivers going through their paces ahead of the season-opening race in Malaysia on March 22.
The teenaged sensation is in a positive mindset as he gets used to his new drive with Arden Racing, having stepped up to the division below Formula One after being crowned GP3 champion last year.
"This morning we were still working on car's balance and overall it was positive despite being P14.
"But in afternoon we focused on race runs so no new tyres were used. Last day tomorrow," Evans posted on his Facebook page.
Evans got through 27 laps in the morning session and then 38 in the afternoon's run.
Tom Dillman, driving for new team Hilmer Motorsport, continued to be the man to beat, finishing 1st and second today.
Evans' Arden team mate Johnny Cecotto was 20th in the morning but an impressive third in the afternoon, just 0.688s off the pace.
