New Zealand cyclist Greg Henderson has revealed the terrible truth about his sport - it can give you enormous thighs.
In a Twitter posting seen round the world, Henderson shows a picture of a "quad-off" between two German cyclists competing at the Olympics.
The image has attracted media attention around the world. The Daily Mail headlined its article with: "German cyclist shows off his freakishly large thighs in bizarre Twitter picture."
Track cyclist Robert Forstemann owns the giant thighs, while the less-extreme legs are those of Andre Greipel.
"You thought Greipel has a big set of legs. There was a quad off in the German camp today. Greipel lost," Henderson tweeted.
Greipel finished 27th in the men's road race, while Henderson was forced out of the event with a stomach upset.
