Today's Australia New Zealand Cup giant slalom title races at Coronet Peak have been won by American Warner Nickerson and Slovakia's Veronica Zuzulova.

Nickerson won the men's title by clocking one minute, 52.80 seconds with

Sweden's Tim Lindgren second in 1min 53.46sec and compatriot Jon Olsson third with 1min 53.78sec.

Top New Zealander in the men's event was Ben Griffin who was fifth with a time of 1min 54.80sec.

Zuzulova, of Slovakia, took top honours in the women's competition with a time of 1min 54.81sec. Norway's Lotte Smiseth Sejersted placed second with a time of 1min 54.93sec and Swiss Nadja Vogel rounded out the podium after clocking 1min 55.62sec.

Sarah Jarvis, 14th overall, was the best of the Kiwis in the women's competition in a time of 1min 59.93sec.
